Friday, March 11, 2011 USB, Slai Cobas, Snater, Unicobas have called a general strike. Women and men by the thousands through Rome in procession, carrying the anger and growing concerns of working more or less guaranteed. They will talk about rights denied, job losses, worsening working conditions, layoffs, blackmail and daily inconveniences arising from rents and mortgages harder to pay ever-increasing rates, welfare and vanishing social safety nets.
The issues raised by the strike and the demonstration involving millions of people, many of them even have relations with trade unions. The strong domestic demand that has pushed us to stand up to proclaim the day of struggle of 11 March, is the same that we saw expressed in recent months is the same eagerness of the students, temporary workers, migrants, women. The same tensions, the same desire to defend himself by attacking.
Recently, we met often, conflicts metropolitan. Not only do we liked this contamination, but we also strengthened our ways, our disputes. We learned to trust, to listen, to strive to understand different languages.
